Rhinohead Productions is the creative collective of artist William F. Wilson II. Information regarding artmaking practice, creative consultancy, curatorial work, event production, exhibitions, and projects are featured on this site.
William is a celebrated interdisciplinary artist, curator, arts administrator, and arts educator with over 25 years of professional experience working with art organizations, exhibitions, and events. After several years based out of Northeastern Ohio, Rhinohead Productions currently operates from the Northern California Central Valley – close to the Bay Area and Sacramento – in local, regional, national and international project capacities.
“Rhinohead Productions” is a curious moniker that references William’s on-going work in the rhinoceros research and support of preservation movements. The banner artwork across this site features a photograph of Spike – a male black (diceros bicornis) rhinoceros originally kept as part of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo highly successful breeding program (under the direction of Mammal Curator Alan Sironen) of the 1990’s. For over two decades William has created works and projects as educative tools and awareness events, in support of the rhinoceros conservation community.
